The leather is wrinkled (common among Balenciaga bags), however, it is made from chevre leather, which is delicate but more soft and relaxed, than the lambskin leather Balenciaga uses today.

There is also one small tear on one of the handles. PLEASE SEE THE LAST THREE PHOTOS. The first pic shows how the tear looks, the second shows that all the leather is there (so it could be repaired) and the final picture shows the size of the tear. I do not have experience with leatherwork, so the bag is being sold "as is."

RARE Chevre Leather Balenciaga Motocross City Bag from Fall/Winter 2006 (W) in Marron (Spanish for Brown). Raised brassed hardware, stud accents, interior and exterior zip pockets, top zip closure, double handles, mirror and detachable shoulder strap. The Exterior is made of luscious, soft distressed goatskin "chevre" leather, which Balenciaga has since discontinued. Very rare and hard to find! Interior is a black textile in perfect condition with a zipper pocket. Includes original dust bag.
